Tata Communications Appoints Aman Gupta as New CHRO, Marking Leadership Transition

Tata Communications, a prominent player in the telecommunications industry, is set to undergo a significant leadership transition in its human resources department. Aadesh Goyal, the long-serving Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), is slated to retire on June 30, 2024, after a distinguished tenure of 14 years, according to a recent regulatory filing.

Stepping into this pivotal role is Aman Gupta, currently serving as the Vice President of Global Head Compensation and Benefits and Business HR at Tata Communications. Gupta brings over a decade of experience within the organization, having contributed significantly to its growth and development.

Gupta’s appointment as the new CHRO comes as a natural progression in his career trajectory within Tata Communications. With a background spanning various roles in human resources across different sectors, Gupta’s expertise is poised to drive the company’s human capital strategy forward.

Prior to his tenure at Tata Communications, Gupta held key positions at reputable organizations such as EXL Services, KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Deloitte Consulting LLP. His diverse experience encompasses talent management, organizational development, HR consulting, and leadership development strategies, making him a well-rounded leader in the field.

Effective from July 1, 2024, Gupta will officially assume the role of CHRO, succeeding Goyal and carrying forward the legacy of excellence in human resources management at Tata Communications.
