Daikin Airconditioning India Pvt. Ltd. appointed Chandrashekhar Mane as the new Chief Information Officer. With over two decades of experience in the technology and consulting sectors, Chandrashekhar brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this role.
Chandrashekhar’s career has been marked by a focus on leveraging technology and data to drive business transformation. In his previous role as Head of Artificial Intelligence & IoT at Daikin, he successfully digitized customer-facing business processes and augmented machine intelligence. His initiatives included the launch of connected machines, a command center for remote monitoring, and PoCs for augmented reality and machine learning applications.
Before joining Daikin, Chandrashekhar held senior roles at IBM, where he led global SAP transformation projects, and at Voltas Limited and Carrier Commercial Refrigeration, where he managed service operations across India.
In his new role as CIO, Chandrashekhar will continue to drive Daikin’s digitization agenda, focusing on IT infrastructure, system optimization, and data security. His extensive experience in process transformation, supply chain optimization, and e-commerce enablement will be instrumental in achieving Daikin’s business objectives.
Chandrashekhar holds an MBA in Finance and a Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where he earned top grades. His appointment underscores Daikin’s commitment to innovation and digital excellence in the air conditioning industry.
