Vinayan Nambiar has been appointed as the Chief Investment Officer at NIMIDA. In this pivotal role, he will establish a Global Investment Office and drive growth and investments across NIMIDA’s various operating businesses, including Tamara Leisure Experiences, The Organic World, WellBe Foods, and Nimida Sports. Collaborating with dynamic young entrepreneurs Shruti Shibulal of Tamara Leisure Experiences and Gaurav Manchanda of Nimida Group, Vinayan’s extensive experience will be invaluable in steering these ventures towards greater success.
Vinayan joins NIMIDA following a distinguished 17-year tenure at Premji Invest, where he most recently served as a Partner and Portfolio Manager overseeing the Public Equities India Portfolio. Premji Invest, the investment management entity founded by Azim Premji, Chairman of Wipro, focuses on managing the financial assets of Premji and his foundation.
Prior to his time at Premji Invest, Vinayan worked as a Lead Analyst at Bear Stearns / IGATE Global for about two years. In this capacity, he managed analytics operations for outsourced investment banking services. Earlier in his career, he served as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu for nearly four years, where he specialized in valuations, strategy formulation, financial modeling, business plan development, and mergers and acquisition advisory.
Vinayan began his professional journey at Cincinnati Milacron in the Marketing Division, working as an Engineer for around two years. His responsibilities included equipment testing assembly, market development activities, and sales pipeline development in South India.
