Ankur brings over 16 years of rich experience in the marketing domain, having worked with leading organizations across diverse industries. Prior to joining lendingplate, he held a key leadership role as Associate Director – Digital Marketing at PayU, where he managed digital strategies, customer retention initiatives, and transformation projects for nearly eight years.
At PayU, he successfully implemented data-driven marketing campaigns that drove
customer acquisition and positioned the company as a leader in the payments ecosystem.
Before his tenure at PayU, Ankur contributed significantly to Lenskart as Online Marketing Manager, where he designed and executed marketing strategies to boost sales, enhance app downloads, and improve customer retention. His efforts in optimizing digital campaigns and managing marketing budgets helped Lenskart establish itself as a dominant player in the e-commerce space.
Ankur’s career also includes roles at Google, where he served as Digital Account Manager, and Jabong, where he worked as Manager – Online Marketing. At Google, Ankur collaborated with premium partner agencies to develop strategic account plans, train teams, and optimize advertising revenue. Meanwhile, at Jabong, he managed high-ROI SEM and display marketing campaigns, leveraging tools like Adobe AdLens and Google Analytics to fine-tune strategies and achieve significant growth.
Academically, Ankur holds a master’s degree in Computer Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bharati Vidyapeeth.
