Ayesha Huda has joined Mars Petcare India as Chief Marketing Officer, marking an exciting new chapter in her career. With her expertise in brand management and strategic marketing, Ayesha will be responsible for overseeing the development and promotion of Mars‘ beloved pet nutrition brands, including Pedigree, Whiskas and Sheba. Her role will focus on strengthening Mars Petcare’s position in the Indian market, delivering products and services that cater to the evolving needs of pet owners.
Before joining Mars, Ayesha held a prominent position as Head of Marketing for Content at Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios India. In this role, she led the go-to-market strategies for Prime Video’s vast lineup of shows and movies, while managing the social media presence for Prime Video India. Her tenure at Prime Video was marked by significant milestones in content marketing, where she played a pivotal role in shaping brand campaigns that resonated with Indian audiences. Prior to that, she served as Head of Consumer Marketing for Instagram India, further adding to her rich experience in consumer tech.
Ayesha’s professional journey also includes substantial time at Unilever, where she managed brand portfolios for leading skincare products such as Pond’s and Dove, as well as the globally recognized “Dirt is Good” campaign for Surf Excel. Her contributions at Unilever showcased her skills in digital marketing, brand architecture, and project management, resulting in award-winning campaigns that strengthened Unilever’s presence across various markets in South Asia.
With her vast background in both consumer tech and FMCG sectors, Ayesha is set to bring a fresh perspective to Mars Petcare India. Her expertise in brand strategy and consumer insights will be instrumental as she leads her team to drive innovative marketing efforts that enhance the lives of pet parents and promote Mars Petcare’s mission to create a better world for pets.
