Nikos Bartzoulianos will join Electrolux Group as Group Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) on August 23, 2024, transitioning from Samsung. In this role, he will also serve as Head of Sustainability for the Business Area Europe and APAC MEA (BA EA), reporting to CEO Anna Ohlsson-Leijon. Until his arrival, Alejandro Cidon will continue as the interim Head of Brand and Marketing and Sustainability for BA EA.
Bartzoulianos has a strong background in marketing strategy and global brand development, having spent nine years at Samsung in senior management roles. His work there included leading global go-to-market strategies and transforming digital brand operations. He also has experience from Procter & Gamble and McKinsey & Company, and holds two engineering degrees from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Anna Ohlsson-Leijon expressed her confidence in Bartzoulianos, stating he would bring valuable insights to the business and enhance their brand and sustainability initiatives. She emphasized that his expertise would be crucial for upcoming brand launches and maintaining their position as a sustainability leader in the industry.
