BorgWarner Inc. has announced the appointment of Joseph Fadool as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective July 1, 2024. Fadool, currently serving as Vice President and President/GM of Emissions, Thermal, and Turbo Systems, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. Reporting directly to Frédéric Lissalde, President and CEO of BorgWarner, Fadool will oversee the company’s operations, with business unit presidents reporting directly to him.
Lissalde expressed confidence in Fadool’s ability to drive operational excellence, citing his extensive knowledge of BorgWarner’s organization and technologies. Fadool’s leadership within the Emissions, Thermal, and Turbo Systems business unit has been instrumental in driving growth and strengthening relationships with major global OEMs.
In his new capacity, Fadool will play a pivotal role in advancing BorgWarner’s commitment to advancing mobility solutions worldwide. He emphasized the company’s potential to deliver value through innovative product leadership and support for customers transitioning to future portfolios.
Simultaneously, BorgWarner unveiled a new business unit structure, effective July 1, 2024, to align with its strategic objectives under the Charging Forward strategy.
