Harkaran Singh Sahni appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer at Apollo Hospitals Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Sahni brings over 19 years of extensive experience in hospital operations, operational excellence, customer service, and client relationship management to his new role.
Previously, Sahni served as the Group Head of Service Excellence at Apollo Hospitals, where he significantly elevated patient experiences across the organization. His efforts in digitizing patient journeys, implementing omni-channel CRM solutions, and crafting a “Tender Loving Care” culture earned him accolades such as the Excellence in Service Transformation Award and recognition for the best Customer Experience programs nationally and internationally.
Sahni’s career includes notable roles such as Deputy General Manager of Service Excellence at Apollo Hospitals, Senior Manager of Service Excellence at Medanta – The Medicity, and Head of Operations & Patient Services at Fortis Healthcare. His background in telecom and healthcare industries, coupled with his MBA in Healthcare from Swami Vivekanand Subharti University and ongoing Executive MBA at the Indian School of Business, positions him well to lead Apollo Hospitals into its next phase of growth and innovation.
As COO, Sahni will oversee daily hospital operations, manage staff, budget, implement policies, and ensure high-quality patient care, while collaborating on strategic plans to enhance overall hospital performance.
