Shake Shack Names Stephanie Sentell as New Chief Operations Officer

Shake Shack Inc. announced the appointment of Stephanie Sentell as Chief Operations Officer, effective July 1, 2024. Stephanie, a seasoned restaurant executive, previously served as Senior Vice President of Company Operations at Inspire Brands, managing over 1,100 Arby’s locations and 22,000 employees nationwide.

“Stephanie is one of the most dynamic and compassionate leaders I’ve known,” said Rob Lynch, CEO of Shake Shack. “She brings extensive operational experience and a data-driven approach that will optimize our Shacks. Her passion and leadership skills align perfectly with our principles of Enlightened Hospitality. I’m excited to welcome her aboard.”

With 23 years in the restaurant industry, Stephanie has a proven track record in profitability and team management. At Inspire Brands and Arby’s, she oversaw a $1.5 billion business. She also has experience from Dairy Queen as Director of Marketing and a franchise owner.

As Chief Operations Officer, Stephanie will oversee all domestic company-operated Shake Shacks, managing over 12,000 team members. She will report to CEO Rob Lynch and work closely with the senior executive leadership team.
