Yasir Anwar has been appointed as the new Chief Technology Officer at Inspire Brands, marking a significant addition to the restaurant holding company’s leadership team. With over two decades of technology leadership experience, Anwar joins Inspire Brands from his previous role as Chief Technology and Digital Officer at Williams-Sonoma. Prior to that, he held esteemed positions at renowned companies such as Macy’s, Walmart, and Wells Fargo.
Anwar’s expertise in building in-house and agile technology teams positions him as a pivotal figure in enhancing Inspire Brands’ technology capabilities. His appointment underscores Inspire’s commitment to developing shared technology capabilities across its iconic brands, aimed at delivering enhanced guest experiences and empowering franchisees with data-driven insights.

Anwar officially assumed his role on May 6 and reports directly to Co-Founder and CEO Paul Brown. He also joins the company’s Management Committee, further solidifying his influence within the organization.
With Anwar at the helm, overseeing teams responsible for Product Engineering, Data Engineering, Technology Operations, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Applications, and Infrastructure and Development Operations, Inspire Brands is poised to leverage technology as a strategic asset in driving growth and innovation across its portfolio of iconic brands.
