First Tech Federal Credit Union (First Tech), a financial partner for technology professionals, has announced the appointment of Kalyan Rajamani as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With over 20 years of experience in creating innovative products, software engineering, information security, and analytics, Kalyan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. He will report directly to First Tech President and CEO Greg Mitchell.
Kalyan’s extensive background includes previous roles as CTO at Nielsen Company, Dynata, and PCR Financial. His contributions to the field have been recognized with the prestigious Arthur C. Nielsen Award for outstanding leadership.
Greg Mitchell expressed his excitement about Kalyan joining the team, noting Kalyan’s proven skills in building exceptional teams and delivering high-performing solutions. According to Mitchell, Kalyan’s experience and vision will be crucial in guiding First Tech’s technology roadmap and enhancing the experiences and products offered to members, employees, and the industry.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Kalyan is an environmental enthusiast who actively volunteers for sustainability efforts. He is a dedicated member of Eagles of Environment, a nonprofit organization focused on restoring the Blackland Prairie ecosystem in Texas.
