Sportradar Group AG (NASDAQ: SRAD) has appointed Behshad Behzadi as its new Chief Technology Officer and Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CTO and CAIO), effective May 1. In this dual role, Behzadi will spearhead the utilization and integration of AI and cutting-edge technology to enhance Sportradar’s product offerings and deliver personalized experiences for sports fans worldwide.
Based at Sportradar’s headquarters in Switzerland, Behzadi will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Carsten Koerl. With a focus on driving innovation and efficiency, Behzadi will collaborate across the organization to optimize processes and drive value for clients and stakeholders. His extensive experience in developing and commercializing product strategies, coupled with his expertise in AI and technology, positions him as a valuable addition to Sportradar’s leadership team.

His notable contributions include co-founding transformative Google products such as Google Assistant, Google Lens, and Google Smart Display. Most recently, Behzadi led Google Cloud’s Conversational AI and applied Generative AI initiative, focusing on revolutionizing customer services and operations for large enterprises.
