Aasif Malbari Elevated to Global CFO & President at Godrej Consumer Products Limited

Aasif Malbari has been elevated to the position of Global Chief Financial Officer and President for Africa, the Middle East, and International Operations at Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL). This advancement highlights his deep expertise in finance, business operations, and strategic leadership, reinforcing GCPL’s commitment to strengthening its global management team.

Previously, Aasif Malbari served as Chief Financial Officer at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. In these roles, he managed the financial strategies for passenger and electric vehicle divisions, contributing significantly to operational excellence and business growth in a competitive industry landscape.

Before becoming CFO at Tata Motors, Aasif was Vice President Finance, where he played a pivotal role in the subsidiarization of the passenger vehicles business. His leadership was instrumental in revitalizing several award-winning brands, underlining his ability to navigate complex financial and operational challenges successfully.

Aasif’s career also includes a remarkable tenure of over 17 years at Unilever. During this period, he held key positions such as Group Finance Controller, Head of Investor Relations, and Finance Director for the Global Dressings Business. These roles involved managing large-scale operations, enhancing financial performance, and implementing effective governance across diverse international markets.

Aasif is widely recognized for his collaborative leadership style, fostering high-performing teams and establishing robust financial frameworks. His ability to seamlessly integrate strategic and operational priorities has positioned him as a dynamic leader in the corporate world.

A Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, Aasif Malbari is a gold medalist from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. His academic and professional accomplishments reflect his dedication to achieving excellence and driving impactful business outcomes.
