Abhijeet Naik Joins AWS as Head of IXT Employee Experience for Marketing, Solutions, Industries, and Partners

Abhijeet Naik has taken on a new leadership role at Amazon Web Services (AWS), joining as the Head of IXT Employee Experience for Marketing, Solutions, Industries, Specialists, and Partners. This move marks a significant step in his career, as he transitions from leading the IXT WWOPS – International Operations team to overseeing AWS’s horizontal business lines. Abhijeet’s new position will involve driving strategic initiatives and collaborating with various teams to enhance customer and partner experiences at AWS.

Before this, Abhijeet played a critical role in Amazon’s operations, serving as Head of IXT Employee Experience for WWOPS across Europe, Emerging Markets, and Global Operations. His earlier tenure at Amazon included leading diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts for global operations, where he spearheaded initiatives to foster inclusive environments across multiple regions. His leadership in capability development and employee engagement has been instrumental in shaping Amazon’s organizational culture.

Prior to his time at Amazon, Abhijeet spent over a decade in the pharmaceutical sector with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, and Eisai Pharma. In these roles, he successfully designed and executed high-impact HR strategies focused on diversity, inclusion, learning, and talent management. His expertise in supporting large, diverse workforces across multiple geographies has made him a trusted leader in both business and corporate HR domains.
