Bhavna Jagtiani Elevated as Chief Executive Officer by Edelman India

Edelman India has elevated Bhavna Jagtiani to the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Previously serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Jagtiani will now lead Edelman’s India operations, driving business strategy, strengthening client relationships, and enhancing the firm’s capabilities to deliver innovative and impactful communication solutions.

With over 22 years of experience, including more than 11 years at Edelman, Jagtiani has played a key role in shaping the firm’s growth. She has led integrated teams across India and Hong Kong, managing high-profile global clients such as Starbucks, LinkedIn, Tencent (WeChat), Sunkist, IKEA, Colgate-Palmolive, Heinz, Wrigley, BlackBerry, Kraft, and Groupon. Her leadership was instrumental in Edelman’s award-winning campaigns, including the IKEA Sleeptober Campaign, which received three Marketing awards at the 2014 MARKIES in Hong Kong.

During her tenure as COO, Jagtiani enhanced operational efficiencies, expanded client mandates, and fostered a strong organizational culture. She previously headed Edelman India’s Western operations, overseeing offices in Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad. Before her return to India, she spent two years in Hong Kong as Co-Lead of the Consumer Practice, driving significant business growth. Her expertise spans corporate and brand communications, market entries, media strategy, crisis management, and integrated marketing.

Jagtiani is also a founding board member of GWPR India, further showcasing her commitment to advancing the communications industry. Her elevation to CEO marks a significant step in Edelman India’s journey, reinforcing its vision for continued growth, excellence, and industry leadership.
