Chiranjit Chowdhury has been appointed as the Country IT Director – India at Omnicom Group, marking a significant elevation in his leadership journey within the organization. Taking charge in April 2025, Chiranjit is now spearheading strategic IT operations and infrastructure across Omnicom’s network of agencies in India, supporting over 10,000 professionals across creative, media, analytics, and production verticals.
With nearly two decades of experience in enterprise IT and digital transformation, Chiranjit has consistently demonstrated his ability to lead high-performing, cross-functional teams across geographies. In his new role, he is responsible for driving technology modernization, cloud adoption, cybersecurity, and service delivery excellence tailored to the evolving needs of India’s dynamic market.
Prior to this elevation, Chiranjit served as Regional Director – IT Service Delivery (APAC) at Omnicom, where he played a crucial role in aligning regional IT services with global standards, improving end-user experiences, and streamlining operations. He has also held senior infrastructure leadership roles at TA Digital, Columbus A/S, and Aditya Birla Minacs, handling global IT functions and executing critical cloud and security initiatives.
Chiranjit’s elevation reflects Omnicom’s trust in his strategic vision and ability to balance business needs with secure, scalable IT environments.
