Dhruv Talwar has been elevated to Associate Vice President – Corporate Brand at Godrej Industries Group. With over a decade of experience in integrated marketing, brand strategy, and communications, Dhruv now leads the corporate affairs function for one of India’s most trusted and diversified conglomerates, which operates across consumer goods, real estate, agribusiness, and other sectors. His new role focuses on driving impactful brand initiatives that strengthen the group’s corporate identity.
Dhruv’s journey with the Godrej Group has been marked by significant achievements. Previously, he served as General Manager for Corporate Brand and Executive Assistant to the Chairperson and MD at Godrej Consumer Products Limited. In this capacity, he successfully transitioned from Godrej Properties Limited, where he established the brand strategy vertical and played a key role in enhancing the company’s market position. His strategic contributions helped Godrej Properties attain leadership in the real estate market.
During his tenure at Godrej Properties Limited, Dhruv made a lasting impact by leading initiatives such as developing brand guidelines, launching national campaigns, and creating a unique brand architecture. He spearheaded consumer engagement strategies and measured branding efforts, contributing to the company’s recognition through multiple awards, including the prestigious Porter Prize and ET Real Estate Brand of the Year.
Before assuming his leadership roles at Godrej Industries, Dhruv gained foundational experience in marketing and branding. As part of the Godrej Group’s Young Leaders Program, GALLOP, he managed integrated marketing for diverse projects, including affordable housing, luxury developments, and commercial real estate. His creative strategies, such as the introduction of the Ambassador’s Club loyalty program, showcased his ability to innovate and deliver results in a competitive market.
Dhruv began his professional journey with The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) as an Assistant Manager in Sales. Joining through the prestigious Taj Management Training Program, he honed his skills in customer engagement and sales strategy at one of India’s leading hospitality chains. This early experience laid the foundation for his career in brand management and strategic marketing.
An alumnus of the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, Dhruv was recognized as the Outstanding Student of the Year for excelling in B-school and corporate competitions. He also completed the altMBA program, designed by marketing expert Seth Godin, which further refined his leadership and marketing expertise.
