Ganesan Arumugam has been elevated to the position of Senior Director for APAC Channel Sales & Alliances at NetApp. In this role, he will collaborate with global and regional leaders to drive the company’s channel strategy across Asia Pacific, focusing on advancing the skills and capabilities of partner organizations’ technical teams.

With oversight of NetApp’s Partner Sphere program, Ganesan will lead efforts to promote the adoption of unified data storage, integrated data services, and CloudOps solutions throughout the APAC region. His role as the APAC representative for the Worldwide Partner Organization (WPO) will be crucial in strengthening NetApp’s partner ecosystem and driving growth across the market.

Ganesan brings nearly three decades of experience in the technology industry, having held key leadership roles in companies like Symantec, VMware, Hitachi Data Systems, IBM, and Novell. His experience managing channels and sales will play a pivotal role in expanding NetApp’s influence and market share in APAC.

Previously, as India Channel lead, Ganesan played a significant role in developing a strong partner ecosystem and driving consistent revenue growth. Now, based in Singapore, he will report directly to Andrew Sotiropoulos, Senior Vice President and General Manager for NetApp Asia Pacific.
