Jasminder Chahal, a seasoned finance professional with over two decades of experience, has taken on the role of President – Home Loans at Bajaj Housing Finance Limited in Pune, Maharashtra. His vast background in banking, particularly in housing finance, portfolio management, and scaling businesses, positions him to lead Bajaj Housing Finance’s home loan division as it seeks to expand its offerings in the real estate and finance sectors.
Before joining Bajaj Housing Finance, Jasminder spent an impressive numerous years at ICICI Bank, where he held various senior leadership roles. His most recent position at ICICI Bank was as the State Head for Punjab and City Business Head for the Chandigarh Tricity region. In this role, Jasminder Chahal was responsible for business generation across multiple product lines, including branch banking, government banking, mortgages, and MSME lending. His hands-on experience in both operational and strategic leadership helped solidify ICICI Bank’s presence in the region.
Jasminder Chahal’s earlier roles at ICICI Bank also included Business Head – Mortgages, where he led the P&L functions for home loans, loans against property, and affordable housing, among other areas.
