Kunal Prabhakar has been appointed Senior Vice President at Dentsu, bringing a number of years of diverse experience in banking and e-commerce. Previously, he held the position of Head of Non-Endemic and FireTV Ads at Amazon, where he significantly contributed to the company’s advertising strategy and execution. His tenure at Amazon, was marked by innovative campaigns that enhanced customer engagement and drove revenue growth.
Before his time at Amazon, Kunal was with MakeMyTrip for years, where he spearheaded the launch of the “Activities” business, successfully onboarding over thousands of merchants and generating substantial revenue. His earlier career included significant roles at HSBC and ICICI Bank, where he polished his skills in retail banking and customer service. Kunal’s rich background in both the banking and e-commerce sectors positions him well to lead Dentsu’s initiatives in a rapidly evolving market.
With this new role, Kunal aims to leverage his extensive expertise in advertising and customer insights to drive innovative solutions for Dentsu, contributing to the company’s mission of delivering transformative experiences for clients.
