Kush Singh has been named the Head of Power Sector at CESC Limited, a prominent player in India’s power distribution industry. With over three decades of experience in the energy sector, Kush Singh is expected to bring a wealth of expertise to his new role at the company.

Prior to joining CESC, Kush Singh held several key leadership positions. Most notably, he served as the Managing Director and CEO of Essar Power, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic direction. His career also includes more than two decades at NTPC, one of India’s largest power utilities, where he gained extensive industry experience. In addition, Kush Singh spent time at Adani Power as General Manager and Project Head.

Kush Singh holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Mesra and has demonstrated strong capabilities in areas such as P&L management, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, and project development. His leadership is expected to be instrumental in driving CESC Limited’s continued growth and innovation in the power sector.
