Gupshup, a leading Conversation Cloud platform, has announced the appointment of Lorrie Norrington to its Board of Directors. With a wealth of experience spanning over four decades in the technology and internet business sectors, Norrington brings valuable expertise to Gupshup as it navigates its growth and development.
Norrington currently holds board positions at global companies such as Colgate-Palmolive, Hubspot, and Asana. Her past experience includes serving in senior executive roles at eBay, including President of eBay International. Her deep understanding of global SaaS markets is particularly relevant for Gupshup as it progresses on its journey from a private to a public company.
In addition to her board roles, Norrington is an Operating Partner at Lead Edge Capital, where she advises late-stage high-growth companies. She has previously held leadership positions at eBay, Shopping.com, Intuit, and General Electric Company. Norrington holds a B.S. from the University of Maryland and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Lorrie Norrington expressed her enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “Gupshup is a market leader in a rapidly growing space, with immense potential, led by a seasoned management team and a strong board of directors. I look forward to working with the Gupshup team to help realize the full potential of their ambitious vision.”
Earlier this year, Gupshup launched the Conversation Cloud, a comprehensive suite of SaaS capabilities that includes built-in Generative AI. This platform aims to revolutionize business-to-customer interactions by enabling conversational relationship management throughout the customer lifecycle.
