Before this, Pradeep Kumar Rangi served as Chief Risk Officer at Airtel Payments Bank, where he was instrumental in strengthening the risk management framework for digital financial services. Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade at Standard Chartered Bank, holding leadership positions such as Head of Risk Execution & Governance at SC Ventures and Director of Risk & Policy for ASEAN & South Asia. His expertise in financial crime compliance, operational risk, and governance has been a crucial asset in shaping risk strategies for global banking operations.
Earlier in his career, he worked as Assistant Risk Manager at Independent Petroleum Group of Kuwait Limited, where he specialized in market risk management. He also held the position of Senior Accounts Officer at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), gaining valuable experience in financial operations and regulatory compliance. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, he is an All India 27th rank holder and a Certified Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management.
