Pranav Kumar Elevated to Head of Human Resources at Tata Motors, Jamshedpur

Pranav Kumar has been elevated to the role of Head of Human Resources at Tata Motors Jamshedpur plant, bringing over two decades of experience in human resources, employee relations, CSR, and welfare. Known for his expertise in HR strategy, talent management, and employee engagement, Pranav has a deep understanding of workforce dynamics across multiple locations in India, including Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh.

Prior to this elevation, Pranav served as the Head of Human Resources at Tata Motors’ Pune plant, where he successfully led HR, employee relations, skills development, and sustainability initiatives for the heavy commercial vehicles division. His leadership at the Pune plant resulted in enhanced organizational culture and operational efficiency. Additionally, he has had a significant impact in previous roles at Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd., KLT Automotive, and Achal Industries, focusing on talent acquisition, workforce planning, and union relations.

Pranav’s extensive background includes managing large workforces and handling complex HR challenges, including compliance, budgeting, and labor negotiations. His leadership in HR strategy and organizational development has been instrumental in shaping employee engagement programs and fostering a high-performance culture across the plants he has managed.

In his new role at Jamshedpur, Pranav is set to drive Tata Motors’ HR agenda further, aligning talent strategies with business objectives and ensuring the continued growth and sustainability of the plant’s workforce.
