Pulak Sarmah has been appointed as the Head of Corporate Marketing & Brand at Sun Pharma. Throughout his career, Pulak has demonstrated proficiency in brand building, customer acquisition, and product adoption across various sectors, including retail banking, life insurance, wellness, and fashion. His background includes leading integrated marketing campaigns across multiple media platforms, including TV, print, radio, online, and social media.

Before his appointment at Sun Pharma, Pulak held the position of Executive Vice President – Marketing at Zurich Kotak General Insurance, where he was a core member of the founding team. During his tenure, he was responsible for shaping the marketing strategy, creating customer journeys, and driving digital transformation initiatives. His leadership at Kotak General Insurance helped in enhancing brand visibility and engagement through innovative marketing approaches.

Pulak has also contributed to the success of Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he oversaw media strategy, social media campaigns, and content marketing for the retail bank. His prior experience also includes managing brand development and digital marketing efforts at Kotak Life Insurance. Recognized for his significant achievements in the marketing field, Pulak has received numerous accolades, including being named in the Digital 40under40 and the 50 Most Influential Marketing Professionals in BFSI.
