Ratnesh Kumar Gaur has joined HIMIL Hi-Tech Electronics Private Limited as Vice President of Engineering, based in Bengaluru. In this senior leadership role, he will lead engineering strategy, product development, and innovation initiatives across high-reliability RF, telecom, aerospace, and defense systems, supporting the company’s growth and technology roadmap.
With over 21 years of experience in RF and microwave engineering, Ratnesh brings deep expertise across telecom RAN/RU, avionics, radar, IFF, and aerospace platforms. A Senior Member of IEEE and a Gold Medalist, he is widely recognized for delivering mission-critical hardware from concept to field deployment while meeting stringent EVM, ACLR, NF, and IP3 targets under demanding thermal and EMC/EMI constraints.
Prior to joining HIMIL Hi-Tech Electronics, Ratnesh served as Principal Engineer at Tejas Networks, where he led the design of advanced RF hardware including 8T8R and mMIMO radios (32T32R and 64T64R). His work spanned power optimization, thermal management, and cross-functional collaboration across FPGA, software, and mechanical teams. He has also held senior roles at Saankhya Labs, Honeywell, Agilent Technologies (Keysight), Airbus Defence and Space, and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), contributing to landmark programs in telecom, aviation, and defense electronics.
Throughout his career, Ratnesh has built a strong reputation for bench-to-field correlation, Design for Excellence (DFX), and supplier collaboration that improves first-pass yield without compromising performance. His leadership has been instrumental in accelerating time-to-market while ensuring product robustness and regulatory compliance.
At HIMIL Hi-Tech Electronics, Ratnesh is expected to play a pivotal role in scaling engineering capabilities, strengthening product reliability, and driving innovation across next-generation electronic systems.
