Sandeep Seth has joined Sanofi Consumer Healthcare (Opella) as the Regional Ethics & Business Integrity Director – India and AMET (Africa, Middle East, and Turkey). In this strategic role, he will be responsible for driving ethics, compliance, and business integrity across diverse markets while strengthening Sanofi’s culture of transparency and trust.
With over two decades of rich experience in ethics, business integrity, compliance, regulatory affairs, and legal, Sandeep brings unmatched expertise in managing large-scale governance frameworks and risk management strategies. Prior to this, he had an impactful nine-year journey with Pfizer, where he served as Cluster Compliance Lead – India, South Asia, and Turkey, overseeing ethics and compliance for a wide geography that included commercial operations, manufacturing plants, R&D facilities, and partnerships. He has also held senior ethics & compliance leadership positions with MSD Pharmaceuticals, Max Bupa Health Insurance, and MetLife India Insurance.
A qualified Company Secretary and Law graduate, Sandeep holds multiple global certifications, including Certified Ethics & Compliance Professional (International) from the Compliance Certification Board, USA, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Professional, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and accomplished compliance leadership programs from IIM Bangalore and ISB Hyderabad. His professional exposure spans healthcare, biopharma, health insurance, and life insurance industries, with proven success in embedding ethics and compliance frameworks across APAC, South Asia, and Turkey. At Sanofi Consumer Healthcare, Sandeep is expected to play a pivotal role in driving a culture of ethics and integrity, implementing global standards tailored to local regulations, and guiding leadership teams to make informed and values-driven business decisions. His vast experience in coaching senior stakeholders, managing investigations, liaising with regulators, and leading cross-functional compliance initiatives makes him a strong asset for Sanofi’s mission of sustainable and ethical growth.
