His previous role as Chief Business Officer at ImpactGuru saw him successfully leading growth initiatives across various cities while optimizing operations, marketing, and human resources. This diverse background positions him well to drive Pepperfry’s ambitious growth plans.
In his new role, Shubbam will be responsible for shaping and executing Pepperfry’s growth strategy. His focus will be on increasing market share and improving customer acquisition, alongside enhancing operational efficiency. A significant aspect of his agenda includes expanding the Home Categories and launching new product lines. He will also target the B2B segment by implementing innovative programs and exploring new opportunities, particularly in collaborations with the HORECA sector and corporate clients.
Shubbam’s vision for Pepperfry revolves around creating a comprehensive platform that caters to both individual customers and businesses. His approach includes integrating technology and omnichannel solutions to streamline customer journeys and optimize the business funnel. By emphasizing community engagement and content, he aims to empower direct-to-consumer entrepreneurs and curate outstanding collections for Pepperfry’s clientele.
Before his tenure at ImpactGuru, Shubbam made notable contributions at CarDekho, where he strengthened the used car retail division. His consulting experience with KSA Technopak and RedSeer involved providing strategic insights on growth, digital transformation, and market expansion. Shubbam’s career began at Godrej, and he co-founded a direct-to-consumer fashion brand specializing in ethnic wear, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit.
Academically, Shubbam holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a B.Tech from the College of Engineering, Roorkee. His extensive background and strategic outlook make him a valuable addition to the Pepperfry leadership team as the company strives to redefine the furniture and home décor landscape.
