Sudip Chatterjee has been appointed Executive Vice President & Zonal Head – East at GROWW, strengthening the company’s leadership as it accelerates its expansion across eastern India. Based in Kolkata, Sudip will lead regional strategy and execution, with a focus on scaling operations, strengthening customer engagement, and driving sustained business growth in the East.
In his new role, Sudip will oversee regional business performance, spearhead market expansion initiatives, and build high-performing teams aligned with GROWW’s mission of simplifying investing and financial services for millions of users. His mandate includes deepening regional penetration, enhancing distribution capabilities, and ensuring operational excellence across the zone.
Sudip brings more than two and a half decades of leadership experience across retail banking, affluent banking, wealth management, and branch banking. Prior to joining GROWW, he served as Senior Vice President & Zonal Head – Branch Banking & Retail Liabilities (East) at RBL Bank, where he played a key role in strengthening the bank’s regional footprint and driving consistent growth.
Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at IndusInd Bank, YES Bank, ING, DCB Bank, and HDFC Bank, building deep expertise across affluent banking, retail wealth, liabilities, and regional leadership. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Sudip is widely recognised for his strong execution capabilities, customer-first approach, and ability to scale businesses across competitive markets.
