Sumeet Narang has been promoted to the role of President of Marketing at Bajaj Auto Ltd. Sumeet Narang, a seasoned marketing professional, has been with Bajaj Auto for several years and previously held the position of President for the Pro-biking vertical, overseeing brands like KTM and Triumph.
In his new role, Sumeet Narang will be responsible for marketing across Bajaj Auto’s entire domestic portfolio, which includes motorcycles, electric vehicles, the Chetak brand, and three-wheelers. He will report directly to Executive Director Rakesh Sharma as he takes on this expanded leadership position.
Sumeet Narang’s journey at Bajaj Auto began as Vice President of Marketing for the Motorcycle Business, where he played a crucial role in shaping the brand’s image and strategies. His transition to the Pro-biking business allowed him to further develop his expertise in the premium motorcycle segment.
Before joining Bajaj Auto, Sumeet Narang garnered valuable experience at renowned companies such as Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble (Gillette), Aircel, and Samsung, equipping him with a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of marketing dynamics. His elevation to this new role signifies Bajaj Auto’s commitment to strengthening its marketing initiatives as it navigates a competitive automotive landscape.
