Akash Somkuwar has been elevated to CEO (Chief Executive Officer) at ADICO Escorts Agri Equipments Pvt. Ltd.(A joint venture by Adico & Escorts Kubota), to lead its next phase of growth with effective Apr’25.
Marking a significant leadership transition within the organization. This elevation comes after a successful tenure as Chief Operating Officer, where he played a crucial role in driving operational efficiency, product excellence, and strategic alignment across key business verticals.
With over two decades of experience across leading manufacturing and engineering firms such as VST Tillers Tractors Ltd., Microtek International, Sigma Engineered Solutions, Escorts Kubota Limited, and Mahindra, Akash brings a strong foundation in quality systems, business excellence, Operational Excellence and performance transformation. His leadership is underpinned by deep expertise in Lean Six Sigma, TQM, TPM, and PMP-based project execution.
During his stint as COO, Akash implemented rigorous quality frameworks, enhanced cross-functional collaboration, and strengthened the company’s operational backbone. His efforts in deploying industry best practices and continuous improvement methodologies have been instrumental in laying the groundwork for his expanded responsibilities as CEO.
