Ashwani Vohra has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer at RK Group, as the organization enters a significant phase of growth and diversification. With strategic plans underway to expand across multiple service verticals and explore a potential IPO, Ashwani’s appointment signals a bold step toward future-focused leadership and operational excellence.
Ashwani brings over two decades of cross-functional leadership experience across India’s most recognized names in food services and retail. Prior to joining RK Group, he served as Chief Executive Officer – Food Services (India) at Compass Group India, a UK-headquartered global leader in contract food and support services. Under his stewardship, the India business saw sustained growth, operational standardization, and deep client engagement across sectors like business & industry, healthcare, education, and defense.
In his earlier roles at Compass, Ashwani also held positions such as COO – Food Services and Vice President – Operations, leading strategic transformation and contributing significantly to revenue from southern India. His previous leadership tenures at Spring Leaf Retail, Subhiksha, Jumboking, and Café Coffee Day reflect a consistent track record in scaling operations, building strong teams, and driving profitability.
Ashwani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality from IHM and an MBA in Sales & Marketing from IIMM. With this new mandate at RK Group, he is set to lead the company into its next era—driven by innovation, operational efficiency, and investor readiness.
