Since joining JSW Sports in 2017 as Head of Sales and Marketing, he has played an instrumental role in driving brand growth, strategic partnerships, and athlete engagement initiatives. In January 2023, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, where he successfully led operations, commercial strategies, and high-profile sports programs before stepping into the CEO role in August 2025.
Before his impactful tenure at JSW Sports, Divyanshu honed his expertise across leading sports and entertainment organizations. At RISE Worldwide Limited (formerly IMG Reliance), he served as Deputy General Manager, overseeing sports marketing, event management, and strategic partnerships. Earlier, at Cornerstone Sport and Entertainment Private Limited, he managed athlete representation and sponsorship portfolios. His role as Business Development Manager at Tennis Excellence Pvt Ltd focused on grassroots sports development and infrastructure creation, laying the groundwork for his future leadership roles.
A former professional tennis player with the International Tennis Federation from 2006 to 2009, Divyanshu brings a rare combination of athletic insight and business acumen. His personal experience competing internationally has shaped his athlete-first approach to sports management, allowing him to bridge the gap between on-ground performance and commercial success.
