Francis Padamadan has been appointed as the CEO-designate of Xpheno, a specialist staffing firm, as it gears up for an initial public offering (IPO) and aims to achieve Rs 500 crore in revenue. With decades of experience in executive search, recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), and global staffing, he brings a wealth of expertise to Xpheno. His leadership will be instrumental in driving the company’s expansion into international markets, strengthening its specialist hiring portfolio, and deepening its presence in the Global Capability Centre (GCC) sector.
With a career spanning leadership roles at Kelly Services and TritonExec, Francis Padamadan has a strong track record of scaling Greenfield GCCs in banking and automotive sectors. His strategic vision aligns with Xpheno’s goal of becoming a dominant player in the specialist staffing industry. As the company enters its ninth year, it is positioning itself as a key partner for the next wave of GCCs in India, with over 200 expected to establish operations in the country in the coming years.
Xpheno currently supports more than 400 established GCCs and is expanding its footprint in the BFSI and consumer sectors. With the specialist staffing market in India valued at USD 6 billion and growing, the company is focused on capturing emerging opportunities. More than 80% of hiring for GCCs and product firms now requires domain-specific expertise, an area where Francis Padamadan’s leadership will play a crucial role.
As Xpheno prepares for its IPO, the company is also exploring strategic acquisitions in RPO and executive search while expanding into Europe. Under the guidance of Francis Padamadan, Xpheno is set to achieve bold milestones, solidifying its position as a leader in specialist staffing.
