Niroop Mundayadan has been appointed as the Cluster CEO at Baby Memorial Hospital, marking another milestone in his distinguished 24-year career in the healthcare sector. Known for his strategic vision, operational expertise, and people-first approach, he brings a wealth of leadership experience to his new role. A postgraduate in Hospital Administration, he is also armed with a Law degree, a Master’s in Labour Management, and advanced healthcare management certifications from the Indian Institute of Management and the Asian Institute of Management.
Niroop’s professional journey spans leadership positions across India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Before joining Baby Memorial Hospital in September 2024, he served for over five years at Sreechand Specialty Hospital — first as Chief Operating Officer and later as Chief Executive Officer — where he drove revenue growth, strengthened patient services, and enhanced operational efficiency. His earlier career includes notable stints at Aster DM Healthcare as Director & Country Manager for the Philippines and Regional Operations Manager for the UAE, as well as senior leadership roles at AL SAFA Healthcare in Qatar.
He began his healthcare leadership journey at Koyili Hospital in Kannur, where he served as Hospital Administrator for over five years, before expanding his horizons into the Middle East as HR Manager for the Holiday Group in Ajman. Across every role, Niroop has demonstrated a consistent ability to implement growth strategies, optimize resources, and lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve ambitious goals.
In his new capacity at Baby Memorial Hospital, Niroop will oversee multi-unit operations, spearhead strategic growth plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and reinforce the hospital’s commitment to patient-centric care. His focus will be on aligning operational excellence with the hospital’s mission of delivering advanced, compassionate healthcare to the communities it serves.
Outside his corporate responsibilities, Niroop is actively engaged in community development. He serves as President of Rotary Cannanore and Vice President of the Lions Club, championing initiatives that promote education, healthcare outreach, and social welfare. His appointment signals a promising new chapter for Baby Memorial Hospital’s journey toward expanding its impact in the region.
