Piyush Kothari has taken charge as the Executive Director and CEO of Shivalik Fund, a growing platform focused on real estate private equity and alternative asset investments. With a professional journey spanning over two decades, Piyush brings extensive experience across capital raising, financial structuring, investment strategy, and governance. His appointment marks a strategic move by Shivalik Fund as it strengthens its leadership in India’s alternative investment ecosystem.
Prior to joining Shivalik Fund, Piyush served as Director at Colliers, where he played a crucial role in expanding the firm’s footprint across Gujarat. He has also held entrepreneurial leadership roles, having worked in startup ecosystems and forming innovative ventures in the health and wellness sector. His ability to drive business from idea to execution highlights his deep understanding of strategy, market dynamics, and operational excellence.
Piyush’s previous roles also include a long stint with Amplus Capital Advisors Private Limited as Associate Vice President, where he oversaw real estate investments across major cities including Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, and Delhi-NCR. His early career included corporate planning and strategy roles at Tata Housing Development Company Ltd. and Silvex Realty Ltd., where he was actively involved in large-scale capital raising, project finance, deal structuring, and feasibility studies, raising over INR 500 crores in funding.
An alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad through its Accelerated Executive General Management Program, Piyush also holds a PGDBA in Finance & Insurance from AICAR Business School, where he graduated as a class topper. His well-rounded profile combines deep financial acumen with leadership experience across startups, corporates, and global consulting firms.
