Sameer Nagpal has been named the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Livguard, a leading player in energy storage and solar solutions under the SAR Group. Bringing with him decades of diverse industry expertise, Nagpal is set to lead the company’s next growth chapter by leveraging his extensive experience across some of the most reputed companies in the Indian and global business landscape.
Before joining Livguard, Sameer held significant leadership positions at organisations including Dalmia Bharat Ltd., Shalimar Paints, and Trane Technologies. At Dalmia Bharat, he led transformative initiatives across both the cement and refractory businesses, overseeing major operational improvements and strategic expansions. During his time at Shalimar Paints, he was instrumental in driving the revival of India’s first paint manufacturing company, while at Trane Technologies (formerly Ingersoll Rand), he drove growth strategy and new business development.
With a proven track record of delivering strong results and business turnarounds, Nagpal has worked across capital goods, building materials, and consumer durables sectors. His leadership has consistently focused on strategic transformation, customer-centric innovation, and operational excellence—traits that align strongly with Livguard’s ambitions in the energy storage and solar space.
As MD & CEO, Nagpal will focus on enhancing Livguard’s presence in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector, with special emphasis on residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
