IBS Software, a leading provider of SaaS solutions for the global travel industry, has appointed Somit Goyal as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective immediately. Somit takes over from Anand Krishnan, who has held the CEO position since 2018.
Somit Goyal brings extensive experience in enterprise software, having held key roles at Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, and AOL. During his 11-year tenure at Microsoft, he led global sales for the Modern Work cloud business and served as COO for the Public Sector division worldwide. Somit also played a pivotal role in establishing Microsoft’s Customer Success function.
Most recently, Somit served as President and COO at Pluralsight, a prominent SaaS company, overseeing product, engineering, and go-to-market strategies.
V K Mathews, Executive Chairman of IBS Software, expressed confidence in Somit’s leadership, citing his expertise in global SaaS businesses and enterprise software management. He believes Somit will drive IBS Software’s growth and innovation.
