Animesh Kumar Steps Down as CHRO of ZEE Entertainment

Animesh Kumar has resigned from his position as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and President of HR and Transformation at ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) after six years with the company. ZEEL announced his departure to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), stating that Kumar, a designated Senior Management Personnel, expressed his desire to pursue interests outside the organization. The company thanked Kumar for his contributions as CHRO and wished him success in his future endeavors.

In his resignation letter, Kumar expressed gratitude for the collective resilience and visionary approach of the team over the past years. He acknowledged the invaluable lessons and experiences gained during his tenure as CHRO and emphasized the profound impact the role had on both personal and professional aspects of his life.

Following Kumar’s resignation, Dheeraj Jaggi, who has been leading Human Resources for the Content Strategic Business Unit (SBU), one of the largest SBUs of the company, as well as spearheading Enterprise Culture and Capability Development, will assume the role of Acting Chief Human Resources Officer.
