Kumar Jagat has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Poojara Telecom, bringing a wealth of HR leadership experience to the company. In his previous position as the Head of HR (Vice President) at Adda247, an AI-based EduTech company, Kumar focused on building strong relationships, enhancing employee engagement, and driving organizational development.
Before his tenure at Adda247, Kumar co-founded Sigma Education, an offline educational intervention aimed at improving IQ and helping young talent qualify for competitive exams like JEE and NEET. He also served as the Head of HR and Strategy at Jindal Stainless, where he was responsible for talent management, HR process digitization, and performance management.
At Adani Enterprises Limited – Natural Resources, Kumar held the position of DGM – HR, overseeing HR operations for the mining vertical, driving HR digitization, and leading employee engagement initiatives. During his time at TATA Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Limited, Kumar led HR for the Jamshedpur plant, spearheaded learning and development for over 2000 employees, and managed talent acquisition and change management.
Kumar began his career with an internship at Vedanta Resources Limited, where he facilitated recruitment and contributed to the design and execution of HR processes.
