Anurag Garg has been appointed as Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer at Welspun Enterprises Ltd, effective July 2025. With over 24 years of experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, and IT leadership, he brings a proven track record of aligning IT with business goals and driving enterprise-wide transformation. An engineer with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees, complemented by an MBA, he has consistently delivered value by integrating processes, technology, and people to achieve sustainable growth.
Before joining Welspun Enterprises Ltd, Anurag served as Vice President & Chief Information Officer at the company for nearly five years, where he played a central role in digital strategy, infrastructure modernization, and technology-led business transformation. His prior experience at Mahindra & Mahindra’s Automotive and Farm Equipment Business included leadership roles such as Head Business Systems – Digital Center and Head Delivery for Analytics, Retail Systems, and Portals, where he spearheaded solutions across analytics, software development, and digital process optimization.
Earlier in his career, Anurag held key positions at Tech Mahindra as Program Manager, AMW Motors Ltd as Head of Business Applications, and Tata Technologies as Program Manager. In these roles, he successfully delivered complex technology implementations including SAP, CRM, HRMS, dealership management systems, and advanced analytics. He also worked at Capgemini as a Senior Technical Consultant, building foundational expertise in technology consulting and enterprise systems.
Throughout his career, Anurag has built and deployed multiple digital solutions that serve as the backbone of business operations. His expertise spans ERP, data security, IT infrastructure, SOC operations, solution architecture, and stakeholder management with service providers, consulting partners, and OEMs. Known for his ability to design solutions with immediate, short-term, and long-term perspectives, he has consistently driven business transformation across manufacturing and project-based organizations.
