Sanjeev Patkar has been appointed as Chief Investment Officer at FYERS Assets, marking a significant leadership addition to the firm’s growing digital-first investment platform. With over three decades of experience in Indian equities, portfolio management, research, and corporate strategy, Mr Patkar brings institutional depth, disciplined investment thinking, and a strong legacy of long-term value creation to the organization.
Prior to joining FYERS Assets, Mr Patkar served as Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Research at ENAM Asset Management Company Private Limited. He has also held senior leadership roles at SBI Funds Management and SBI Mutual Fund, where he led research teams overseeing domestic and offshore mandates with average AUM of approximately US$12 billion. Over the years, Sanjeev has built differentiated investment frameworks grounded in quality-first principles, earnings durability, capital efficiency, and disciplined risk management.
His earlier stints at GE Capital Asset Management India Limited, Anand Rathi Securities Private Limited, Jardine Fleming Investment Management India Limited, and CRISIL further strengthened his expertise across research, fund management, ratings, and corporate strategy. At FYERS Assets, Mr Patkar sees a compelling opportunity in the firm’s tech-driven and AI-forward approach to build disciplined, scalable, and accessible investment solutions for a wider investor base. He looks forward to expanding product offerings across PMS and AIF while embedding robust research, compliance, and risk frameworks.
