Before joining Piramal Pharma, Vishal served as Group CIO at Astarc Group, where he spearheaded enterprise-wide technology modernization. His leadership included directing the SAP ECC 6.0 migration roadmap to HANA, implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O for unified finance and operations, rolling out Salesforce CRM for data-driven customer engagement, and establishing advanced cybersecurity infrastructure with SOC, DLP, and AI-driven threat detection. His initiatives in Industry 4.0 technologies—such as IoT integration, predictive maintenance, and AI-powered quality inspection—significantly improved operational efficiency and quality control metrics.
Earlier, as Head – Technology at Pidilite Industries Limited, Vishal led comprehensive digital initiatives across quality, supply chain, process optimization, and cost reduction.
