Ramesh Kunnath has taken on a new leadership role as Chief Operating Officer at Crowe, where he will be responsible for leading and expanding the firm’s US-India operations, driving strategic growth, and enhancing operational efficiency across business lines. Based in India, Ramesh brings with him nearly three decades of experience in strategy, operations, transformation, and global delivery excellence across leading professional services firms.
With a career spanning over 28 years, Ramesh has successfully built and scaled Global Capability Centers (GCCs), delivery centers, and offshore units for multinational organizations. Before joining Crowe, he served as Operations Leader and Deputy COO at PwC Acceleration Centers in India, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening operations and delivering on the firm’s global growth agenda. His earlier leadership roles include serving as Senior Director and Operations Leader at RSM US LLP, where he led the setup of the US and Canada offshoring business in India, driving transformation initiatives that integrated technology, people, and process excellence.
Ramesh’s extensive tenure at Deloitte US-India offices further cemented his reputation as an operations transformation leader. Over 17 years, he held multiple leadership positions, including Vice President – Tax Transformation, where he oversaw operations for more than 9,000 professionals and implemented innovative automation and process improvement strategies that boosted efficiency and performance across teams. His early professional journey includes impactful roles at GE Capital and Vedanta, where he built a strong foundation in finance and operational management.
An alumnus of the Indian School of Business (ISB) and Columbia Business School, Ramesh is a PMP®, PSM, and Six Sigma Black Belt-certified professional, known for his ability to drive business transformation and operational excellence at scale. His leadership philosophy emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, enabling organizations to deliver superior value to clients and stakeholders alike.
