Seshan Ramachandran has joined Saama as Chief Operating Officer, bringing with him nearly three decades of global experience in IT services, digital transformation, and life sciences innovation. In this new role, he is set to lead Saama’s operational strategy and delivery at a global scale — with a sharp focus on client success, AI-driven transformation, and business growth.
Seshan’s career spans over 28 years, with leadership roles across top-tier companies including Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, and Cerner Corporation. At Tech Mahindra, he most recently served as SVP & Global Delivery Head – Healthcare & Life Sciences, overseeing multi-billion-dollar portfolios, complex transformation programs, and large-scale delivery ecosystems. His prior 14-year tenure at Cognizant saw him rise through senior executive roles, where he was pivotal in scaling business units, driving GTM strategies, and shaping global partnerships.
What sets Seshan apart is his ability to manage delivery organizations with over 5,000 FTEs globally, while maintaining a laser focus on value creation, P&L performance, and customer-centric execution. His leadership style blends deep technical understanding with strong strategic acumen, enabling him to drive end-to-end transformation across the life sciences value chain — from R&D to commercial operations.
In his new capacity at Saama, a leading AI-driven solutions provider for life sciences, Seshan will be instrumental in building agile delivery frameworks, scaling global operations, and enhancing Saama’s position as a trusted AI transformation partner.
