Abhishek Gupta has taken on a new leadership role as Director – Alliances & Partner Development at Workday, marking a significant milestone as the company expands its presence in India and reinforces its global leadership in strategic partnerships and digital transformation.
As part of Workday’s founding team in India, Abhishek brings over two decades of global experience in building and scaling high-impact alliance ecosystems across JAPAC and EMEA. He has a proven track record of driving growth, innovation, and partner excellence, with a leadership style defined by strategic vision and collaborative execution.
In his new capacity, Abhishek will focus on strengthening strategic alliances, fostering synergistic partnerships, and expanding Workday’s partner ecosystem to accelerate business outcomes across the region. His expertise lies in transforming alliance strategies into measurable results — combining cross-industry collaboration, go-to-market excellence, and a deep understanding of enterprise technology landscapes.
Before joining Workday, Abhishek served as Director of Partnerships & Business Development at Job for Guide, a Poland-based travel marketplace, where he led the expansion of partnerships and market presence across Europe. His earlier leadership stints include key roles at ServiceNow, Infor, Oracle, IBM, and Wipro, where he consistently built multi-region alliance frameworks and drove double-digit growth through partnerships with global leaders such as AWS, KPMG, PwC, EY, Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and regional SIs across APAC and MEA.
Recognized for his ability to build high-performing teams, lead with empathy, and inspire collaborative innovation, Abhishek also contributes to academia as a guest lecturer at IIM India, where he shares insights on Cybersecurity, Agentic AI, and Customer Experience (CX) — bridging academic thought leadership with real-world enterprise strategy.
