Clement Michael has been elevated to the position of Chief Information Security Officer – Insurance Business Unit at Capgemini. With over a decade of dedicated service at Capgemini and nearly two decades of expertise in cybersecurity, cloud security, and governance, risk and compliance (GRC), Clement now assumes a pivotal leadership role focused on fortifying security frameworks within the Insurance division of the global digital transformation giant.
Clement’s journey at Capgemini spans multiple key positions, including Information Security Manager, Production Support Manager, Datacenter Migration Lead, and Senior Network Engineer. In his role as Information Security Manager, he has been responsible for leading GRC programs with a focus on information security, cloud security, and DevSecOps for major financial services clients. His extensive experience has been integral in shaping robust compliance structures and strengthening enterprise security posture.
Previously, Clement led the infrastructure setup for Capgemini UK’s acquisition of Strategic System Solutions and managed offshore support teams ensuring seamless service delivery. His early years in the industry included hands-on experience as a Desktop Support Engineer at Change Technologies, where he honed his technical skills in client-facing environments adhering to high service standards.
In his new capacity, Clement will drive strategic security initiatives for Capgemini’s Insurance business unit, ensuring regulatory alignment, resilience, and innovation. His elevation reflects his long-standing commitment, technical expertise, and leadership capabilities in the constantly evolving cybersecurity landscape.
