Deval Shah has been elevated to lead the Global Capability Centre (GCC) practice at Infosys, marking a significant milestone in the company’s strategic focus on global delivery excellence. With this move, Infosys strengthens its commitment to supporting global clients in establishing, managing, and transforming their GCCs. This elevation also transforms the company’s Center of Excellence (CoE) into a full-fledged GCC practice amid the growing demand for multi-year transformation engagements.
Bringing with him decades of leadership experience across technology and business transformation, Shah currently serves as Vice President and Delivery Head at Infosys. Prior to joining Infosys in 2023, he held the role of Managing Director and Country Head at Danske IT and Support Services India, where he played a crucial role in advancing digital innovation and delivery operations.
Shah’s career spans leadership roles at several globally recognized organizations. At State Street India, he served as Managing Director and Country Head, following his tenure at HCL Technologies, where he led integrated service delivery for a major Tier-1 global bank. His work has consistently centered around delivering high-impact outcomes across investment banking, infrastructure services, and technology centers of excellence.
A graduate with a Master of Science in Systems Science from Louisiana State University, Shah is widely recognized for his strengths in IT strategy, organizational development, and large-scale transformation programs. His appointment underlines Infosys’ vision to become a strategic partner in the evolving GCC landscape, enhancing its end-to-end capabilities to serve a global client base.
