Dhiraj Sorte has joined Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited as the new Head of Human Resources for the East Zone. With over a decade of experience in the field of human resources, Dhiraj brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this new role. He has been associated with Hindustan Petroleum for more than 12 years and has played a key role in shaping the company’s HR strategies and initiatives. His extensive background includes serving as Senior Manager in Performance Management, where he contributed to enhancing the company’s HR operations and aligning them with organizational goals.
In his new capacity, Dhiraj will be responsible for leading HR functions across the East Zone, ensuring that the company’s talent management and performance strategies continue to drive organizational success. His expertise in performance management and talent development will be critical in strengthening the company’s HR policies and practices in the region. Dhiraj’s previous roles have equipped him with the skills necessary to address the complex challenges of workforce management and employee development at a large-scale organization like Hindustan Petroleum.
Dhiraj holds an MA in Human Resource Management & Labour Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. This academic foundation, along with his vast industry experience, will enable him to effectively manage the diverse HR needs of Hindustan Petroleum’s East Zone operations. His appointment further strengthens the company’s commitment to fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring that HR practices are aligned with the company’s long-term business objectives.
