Divij Sharma has taken on the role of Head of Customer Engagement at Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, bringing with him over a decade of experience across leading companies such as Amazon, McKinsey & Company, and Prime Video. In his new role, Divij will lead initiatives focused on customer acquisition, retention, and product marketing across Prime Video’s diverse content offerings, contributing to a seamless and engaging viewer experience.
Over his 11-year journey at Amazon, Divij held key roles including Senior Manager of Alexa Marketing & Business Intelligence, where he led marketing strategies and insights for Amazon Alexa in India. His responsibilities spanned user growth and retention, partner and performance marketing, and go-to-market execution for new Alexa features. Under his leadership, Alexa’s adoption expanded significantly through innovative partnerships and cross-device ecosystem integrations.
Divij also headed the insights team for customer experience and engagement, developing business intelligence frameworks that shaped decision-making across operational, financial, and customer engagement domains. Prior to Amazon, he began his career with McKinsey & Company, where he transitioned from an intern to Junior Analyst, working on transformation programs across manufacturing, BFSI, and government sectors.
A product marketing strategist with a strong background in digital innovation, customer lifecycle management, and analytics, Divij has consistently delivered results through a mix of data-driven insights and consumer-centric strategies. His appointment to Prime Video is poised to elevate the platform’s engagement strategies in India.
